DE CENTRAL PARK A CERMAK FRESH MARKET
From Central Park to Cermak Fresh Market
Nuestra primera tienda, de solo 2,500 pies cuadrados, abrió en las calles Central Park, Grand y Division en Chicago, donde aprendimos el valor de la calidad, la comunidad y la confianza. En 1993, inauguramos nuestra segunda ubicación en Cermak y Cicero, ofreciendo carnes frescas y una verdadera experiencia de carnicería que rápidamente se volvió la favorita del vecindario.
Con el tiempo, crecimos junto con la demanda. En las décadas siguientes abrimos más tiendas en toda la ciudad, ampliando nuestras categorías con abarrotes, deli, panadería, mariscos y lácteos. En 2012, celebramos un hito importante al abrir nuestra primera tienda fuera del estado, en Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Our first store—just 2,500 square feet—opened at Central Park, Grand, and Division Streets in Chicago. That small beginning taught us the importance of quality, community, and trust. In 1993, the second store opened on Cermak Road and Cicero Avenue, introducing fresh meat, poultry, and a true carnecería experience that quickly became a neighborhood favorite.
As demand grew, so did our vision. Over the next two decades, new locations opened across the city, expanding our offerings to include full grocery aisles, a deli counter, a bakery, fresh seafood, and dairy. In 2012, we proudly opened our first out-of-state store in Milwaukee, Wisconsin — a milestone that continues to reflect our growth and commitment to every community we serve.
